how it started
Surrounded by music his whole life, it wasn’t until a Doc at 100 show at a Billy Strings concert in 2023 that everything clicked — and Asher was all in.
After diving headfirst into bluegrass, Asher quickly found his footing, crossing paths with legendary flatpicker Wayne Henderson, who became a mentor and friend and even built Asher a rare left-handed guitar. Since then, Asher has shared stages at MerleFest, the Wayne C. Henderson Festival, IBMA, and beyond. He continues to hone his craft and write original music. Midnight Hurricane is his debut album.
